The world’s most popular collectable coin, the Krugerrand, celebrated its 50th birthday in 2017. To mark the half-century since it was released as the first easily accessible way of owning tradable and collectable gold, the 1976 Vintage Proof Krugerrand was released by the SA Mint. To showcase and celebrate the occasion, an exhibition stand was designed and erected at the World Coin Fair in Berlin, Germany. Work produced with GBR, CapeTown, South Africa.
